We're TC and Jen. TC is a full-stack engineer and trained cabinet-maker, fluent in Mandarin — he knows how furniture and cabinetry get built, and where things go wrong. Jen's an architect and interior designer — she keeps every spec tight and every process sharp.
While renovating his own place, TC kept hitting the same wall on furniture and cabinetry — local quotes felt high, and Alibaba felt like a minefield of middlemen and fake reviews. Jen kept watching her interior-design clients hit the same walls. So we flew to China, walked the factories, ordered trial pieces, and shortlisted the ones that actually delivered.
